I knew it was a special wedding season. I just didn’t realize exactly how special until I started assembling this retrospective. Looking back at all the faces of all the beautiful people I met in all the different locations is almost overwhelming. Each image gives me an exact feeling of the sense of that moment. Was it sunny, was it cool, did we laugh, were we in a hurry…And it all means the world to me. I can only imagine what it means to my couples and their families. So I ask God to continue to bless me in 2015 with the ability to beautifully capture such moments. Not to feed some sort of artistic ego but to document life…for my couples…for their families.
It was an overcast Youngstown day…but nobody cared. It also felt a bit chilly, but mostly because no one was quite used to November yet…and still no one cared. We were having fun, a LOT of it, right from the get go and it lasted all the way through the final dance. There was laughter and some tears, while love warmed everyone…it was perfect.
Allison’s gown was an Amsale and it was beyond gorgeous and fit her perfectly. She was an elegant movie star born for the role. Chris’s look was classic black tie. He looked dashing in his Ralph Lauren tux and I can’t tell you how good it was to see a cummerbund again. It’s been a long time… so long I had to look up how to spell cummerbund.
The ceremony was at St. Edwards in Youngstown followed by creative photography session at The Butler Institute of Art and the Fellows Riverside Gardens both also In Youngstown. Even though it wasn’t exactly warm out, everyone was light hearted and joked around the whole time! An all around stellar group that had ijuliet photography laughing all day!
Whenever we were able to separate Allison and Chris from the group for some sweet wedding photography their love for each other was incredibly apparent…I mean look at the pictures… these two were beaming! And they obviously appreciate the art of photography because they were totally open to all our ideas and it didn’t hurt that they’re both amazingly photogenic!
When we arrived at Leo’s Ristorante in Warren for the party we were again surrounded by family and friends. And I got to tell you they all know how to have a good time. The food was great, the drinks flowed and dance floor was packed all night. This was one for the books! Thanks for letting us share it with you…
