Niki and I have a crazy history. It includes such things as dump trucks and the police. Now we’ve added to our sordid list a near-death hike and mukluks. I’ve always loved Niki and now after meeting James I can see why she loves him…can you say “perfect for each other!” I had a blast tearing up the trails with you guys and can’t wait until the wedding…where I’ll get to see all my old friends!!!
On my way to Gervasi Vineyard a light fog was burning off the low ground. It would heat up quickly and end up being a rather warm day. When I got out of my car I saw bees doing their thing to all the beautiful flowers, apples being hand-picked and water-bugs disturbing the mirror like reflection of the pond. I was thinking back to Erica and Bobby’s Little Italy, Cleveland, engagement session and how much fun we had and I was expecting more of the same on this their wedding day. The day would not disappoint. It proved to be full of romance and laughter. The moment I met Erica and Bobby I fell in love with them, you can’t help but to, and I ended up loving them even more after meeting Drew their amazing son. One of the many things that sticks in my mind is when Bobby (doing one of the most romantic things I have ever seen at a wedding) surprised Erica with an amazing new ring…at the altar!!! And her reaction was priceless!!! I will always remember how sunny skies turned to dusk and as the coolness settled in, we walked dewy vineyards past swans and into the the party. Congratulations you two, I just know you will have a sweet life together.
